TEXT: Physics 6th Ed. by Cutnell and Johnson
Physics 201 Lab Manual (published by Hayden-McNeil)
OPTIONAL: Student Solutions Manual
       Student Study Guide

GRADING:
4 exams for 60%
final (comprehensive) for 25%
lab for 10%
recitation (weekly quizzes) for 5%

Note: You must achieve a 70% or better in the laboratory to pass the course.

Note: If your grade on the Final Exam is higher than your lowest grade on one of the four exams during the semester, the grade on the Final will replace that one lowest exam grade in computing the course grade. The Final Exam grade cannot be used to replace an exam that has been missed.
There will be two CPR assignments during the semester and each will count as one lab report grade. Details about logging on and due dates will be handed out in class and posted on the web site.
Note: September 4 is the last day to drop with no record
November 7 is the last day to Q-drop
Final Exam is Tuesday, December 16, 8--10 am
