A1	This "20" is an illustrative purpose. The expornent of Boltzmann suppression factor is from ΔM / k Tf where k Tf ~ M(χ10) /15. If M(χ10) = 200 GeV, k Tf = 13. However, DARKSUSY includes details of its calculation, including other contributions.
Q2	Why mSUGRA?
A1	It is our goal to test a minimal scenario first, instead of trying to probe a large number of the parameters. The mSUGRA model is general enough to carry on the analysis.

[Abstract] We examine the stau-neutralino co-annihilation mechanism of the early universe. We use the minimal supergravity (mSUGRA) model and show that from measurements at the LHC one can predict the dark matter relic density with an uncertainty of 6% with 30 fb^-1 of data, which is comparable to the direct measurement by WMAP. This is done by measuring four mSUGRA parameters m₀, m_1/2, A₀ and tanβ in the co-annihilation region without requiring direct measurements of the stop and sbottom masses. We also provide precision measurements of the gaugino, squark, and lighter stau masses without the mSUGRA assumption.

Q1	You studied the gaugino unification given by particular values of r1 = 5.91 and r2 = 3.19. How is the your result sensitive to the assumption?
A1	We chose a mSUGRA point as a reference point where r1 = 5.91 (theory) and r2 = 3.19 (theory). However, our "experimental" values of r1 and r2 are independent of the GUT assumption. This is because we "measure" the SUSY masses based on kinematical distributions in the case where M(gluino) ~ M(squark) >> M(χ20) > M(~τ1) > M(χ10) and Br(χ20 → ~τ1 + τ) ~ 100%. Thus, this methodology can be applied for a wide class of models.
Q2	Have you done a consistency test with a parameter point where m0 = 200 GeV, instead of 210, for example? In other words, can you distinguish such an mSUGRA point from the reference point?
A2	We haven't done the exactly same study as you asked. However, we generated those SUSY points and evaluate the changes in 6 observables. Then we inverted. Thus, we did an equivalent test. What we might perhaps worry about here is the choice of A0 = 0. Since zero is a special number, is the accuracy just as good for A0 = 500 (a reasonable choice also)? This requires a detailed study to check out. However, an impat on the Ωh2 calculation will be small. Below is a naive guess. We first see we are in the co-annihilation region (i.e., ΔM < 15 GeV). Then the value of m0 must be in the way to satisfy the small ΔM value. In the Ωh2 calculation, the dominant effect is from ΔM. Thus, the impact will be small.
