indicated by the syllabus!

What you will need is Vol. 2 of the text, and the
separate lab manual. Volume 2 of Young and Freedman is sold by the
local bookstores.

Sample Exams: The following are exams from phys 208 or 219.
The older course 219 was very similar to this course except that optics was
not covered.

A Formula Sheet will be attached to the in-class exams. Besides this sheet,
you will not be permitted any other note-cards or references for the
exams.

Course Notes and Summaries: Chapter summaries and a few other course
notes can be found here.
Help Desk: There is a general physics help desk in Heldenfels
room 211, Monday-Thursday 9-4 and Friday 9-12. These students can help you
with homework problem-solving or other physics-related questions if you get
stuck.
